St Paul's Cathedral has always boasted a particularly fine statue of its famous Dean and preacher, John Donne. Adding to this iconic image of Donne is another statue which has just been unveiled, in the (to be completed) garden to the south of the cathedral. This new likeness is a bronze bust by Nigel Boonham (FRBS), with two lines from Donne's poem 'Good Friday, 1613, Riding Westward', inscribed underneath the bust. The statue was unveiled by the artist and by Professor Peter McCullough, OESJD General Editor and also Lay Canon of St Paul's. See here for the full news story.
