We bid you a very warm welcome to the newly launched website of The Oxford Edition of the Sermons of John Donne. This website exists, in the main, to support our forthcoming 16-volume edition published by Oxford University Press, and generously supported by a Major Research Grant of the Arts and Humanities Research Council. Here, you will find a thorough introduction to the edition, to its individual volumes, and its editorial principles. Moreover, we will publish research support materials such as manuscript transcriptions and editorial protocols, which we hope may be of use to the wider scholarly community. Finally, be sure to check back often as we will also announce the details of three conferences to be held within the life-time of the project (2011, 2013, and 2015) - and well as other events, or any Donne-related news.
